Jan 28 - baking with Dad

Making chocolate chip cookies with Daddy!

Jan 24 - Sugarloaf weekend with friends

Skiing with a posse of friends at the Loaf...despite cold temps!  These kids are hardcore!!!  It was -3 on Saturday am and they wanted to go out early.  The kids have learned that the best conditions are usually first thing in the morning so now they are super motivated, even Kins!  We skies tons of runs with the Hayman's, Marden's and Dunn's, both Saturday and Sunday, lots of fun.  These kids are ripping and becoming more challenging to keep up with!

Jan 21 - music

I love this!  Kins wants to be just like her big sister and is really taking a liking to music as well!

Jan 18th - Martin Luther King, Jr Holiday

Yeah, fresh snow!  We hit some trails near the house and the kids did great on their cross country skis.  Kins even skied a little but she really liked sitting in the sled better.  We didn't dare go too far but now that we've tried a little excursion, we will definitely be back to explore more!

Jan 17 - more snow and outdoor time with kids

Jan 16 - Tuck plows the driveway...

I'm not sure what to even say about this... Jay and Tuck rigged up a plow and lever arm for Tuck's tractor.  He has been wanting to plow ever since Poppi mentioned having a plow this past summer!  They finally figured out how to attach it and this made the happiest 7 year old around!!!  He plowed and plowed, and then decided he needed chains after getting stuck a few times so that became the next project.  Like father, like son!

Jan 14 - lots of music!

We have a lot of music in our lives these days and I just love it!  Tuck's taking guitar lessons, Brooklyn takes violin (or fiddle as she says) and Kins just likes it all!  Although she says she wants to play the violin like Brookie too.

Jan 11 - Awesome skiing at Loaf with friends

Jan 6 - Disney on Ice

Nothing better than finding the kids reading together!
Disney on Ice - the kids got tix for Xmas and really enjoyed the joy, especially McKinley!!  She hooted and hollered all night:)
