September 23rd - Gator/Jeep wars, fishing and Dune Buggy ride!

September 22nd - birthday party and painting

We went to Bella's 3rd birthday party on Saturday morning.  The kids had a blast playing with each other and spent a lot of time in the bounce house.  Poor Tucky got hit in the neck at one point and was pretty sore so he wasn't exactly himself, but Brooklyn sure was.  Bella had a great birthday party, lots of fun!

While Daddy made a quick trip to Kittery to pick up his cousins Dune Buggy, the kids and I had a special movie night and painted tiles too.  We watched a "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" cartoon special while eating dinner and then painted.  Brooklyn made a person and Tuck made two tiles.  He drew the sky, sun, with clouds on top, partly sunny as he told me they say in his school.  He added tall grass that Daddy was mowing and an apple tree with apples that Daddy had to cut down.  I was cracking up!  The second tile was of Tuck, Daddy and Derek catching fish on Danny's wharf.  It was a fun night!

September 21 - Cheverus field hockey game

Mimi picked up the kids early and brought them down to Cheverus to watch Aunt Amy's team's field hockey game.  They were showing some team spirit, holding balloons and beads.  Apparently they both lost the balloons a few moments later but they're pretty cute!  After the game they all had a great dinner at Ricetti's in Falmouth, where Daddy met them as well.   Mommy got a night off to go surfing and missed all the fun but I heard they had a great time!  Thanks Mimi!

September 19th - after school play

Good week at school and Cindy's for both kids!  They are getting up, getting dressed on their own and we are starting to get the routine back.  I'm really impressed that Brooke can put her shoes on by herself too!  They're getting too big!

On Wednesday afternoon, the kids wanted to have play time outside before dinner.  They had the gator going, and Brookie's jeep, but she has a hard time steering.  Brooke helped Tucky with his wagon, which he attached to the gator and informed us that he was "motorboating."  He had the truck and trailer attached so he could go fish the pond.  It was histerical.

At one point they both came in for a super quick bathroom break and Tuck flew back outside.  I tried to get Brooke to stay in and get ready for dinner to which she replied, "No, Mama, Tucky needs my help!"

September 16th - apple picking and motor boating

Apple picking in New Gloucester with Meghan, Sage and Sam!  What a beautiful, crisp day, perfect for picking juicy, red apples!  The kids loved it and we came home with a ton.

Big helper Tucky offered to pull the wagon with the other three kids in tow, super cute!

We spent a few hours out on Sebago in the new boat.  Tucky and Daddy fished while Brooklyn napped in the car with me.  Then we all went out in the boat together, fished for a bit and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine.  We are loving the boat!

Brooklyn saw a guy on a jet ski driving round and round in circles.  She pointed at him and started singing "Ring around the Rosie...."  It was funny.

Then while we were docking, Tucky met a guy who was also fishing and asked us if we had any luck, we didn't.  Tuck asked him if he caught anything and he pulled out a 26" Salmon that he pulled out of the water about 10 miles around and told us it was 250 feet deep in the lake...we're sticking with sunfish Tuckster!
