June 26th - lemonade stand with the Scorza's

Mrs. Scorza said that they had been wanting to do a lemonade stand all summer.... so we told them to come over and let's give it a shot...  The kids made their own signs, Tuck grabbed a laundry basket and some tape, then they loaded up the Gator and Jeep to head for the road.  Luckily we weren't too far behind...

It wasn't a super hot day and we even had a few sprinkles, not enough to slow those kiddos down!  When we received no traffic in our driveway, we headed to the entrance at White's Bridge Road and tried to flag down passing cars.  They yelled, "Lemonade and Fruit Punch!!"  over and over but we only had two customers, a neighbor and myself.  They were so excited to get change and Tuck and Camden split it.  They were so cute and the girls even go involved!  We'll definitely be trying this again, love seeing them so involved in activities together!

June 23rd - busy weekend

The expressions are coming fast and furiously!  I love this stage and clearly have had the camera inches from her little face trying to capture them.  Daddy said he hasn't seen her smile yet but I sure have, here ya go Daddy, so super smiles for ya!

With the big kids enjoying their last few days of preschool, "Mckins" (as Brooklyn has named her) and I have been lounging on the lawn looking at the trees, clouds, birds, etc.  She is so alert and definitely likes to be outside, hey me too!

We took out our boat on Saturday to meet up with some friends out at "Boaters Beach" on Sebago and it was Mckinley's first boat ride...she slept through it.  We had a big umbrella set up and she hung out with Mommy and then slept on the boat on the beach.  The kids were able to swim, fish and play with their buddies and we stayed out for about 4 hours.  It was a blast!

Then we packed up and hit the road to drive to Penobscot.  The kids have been dying to go down and visit Mimi and Poppi!  After a quick dinner outing at a Mexican restaurant in Waterville and a change on the truck's tailgate, we headed downeast.  It was a quick trip down but so nice to reacquaint ourselves!  The cousins all played together and even enjoyed a super close ride with the twins back to Mimi's house in Oakland to go swimming.  We had Tuck, Mommy and Brookie in the back row of the Suburban, Logan, Avery and Mckins in the middle and Mimi and Nahne filling out the front, craziness!  At one point we had all the little girls sleeping and then Logan but Tucky was too excited to close those big brown eyes.  Cousin time!
