January 29th - jam session before bedtime

At dinners imp, the kids they wanted to have a jam session before pj's and then they figured out who would play what, so funny.  Daddy was relinquished duty as the picture taker by the kids too.

January 28th - experimenting with balloons and hot air

Tuck is very curious about what makes balloons rise so while I was making dinner and feeding McKins! he dragged up our rafting pump and trying catching air in plastic containers.  Then he remembered our conversation about how hot air rises so he used his warm breath...and it still didn't rise.  He was disappointed but I mentioned that library day is Thursday so maybe he could check out a book about it to learn more..."Good idea mommy."  He's so clever

January 25th - Ski day for Mommy and Brooke, others rest day at home

January 24th - marbles shoots and a slightly sick little fella

Yucky woke up with what appeared to be hives.  He was red, swollen and super itchy.  After some Benadryl and a lukewarm tub, he was much better but super drowsy.  He and I dropped the others off at preschool and Cindy's and spent the day testing at home.  He was doing much better in the afternoon and when Brookie came home, he was ready to play.  It was a marble shoot making kind of night.

January 20th - At home with friends, playing and a cooking party

After a fun-filled weekend, we were home today luckily!  The kids played all morning with Camden and Ainsley.  Then in the afternoon Tuck's buddy Brody and the Patenaude's and Jessica came over to do a big frozen crockpot meal extravaganza.

January 17th - 8 months old!!

It's crazy how much Mckinley has changed, especially the last couple weeks!  She is now...
-sitting up well and playing with toys
-talking and babbling nonstop...might have said "Dada" and "hi"
-aggressively rolling over to get somewhere
-has 2 lower teeth
-cries in the dark, at bedtime
-is totally aware of Tuck and Brooke and wants to be with them, especially at bedtime
-loves baths, being changed, spending time outside and PEOPLE
-smiles all the time, huge smiles
-and she eats everything in her vicinity (our big people food too like bread and fruit).

On our way to camp, we stopped in to visit with the Dunn's!  The kids were so excited to see each other.  Sage, the little mother hen, took great care of Mckinley! She fed, changed, dressed and snuggled her so well!  Such a fun night and the kids slept all the way to camp and all transferred into bed too!

January 13th - dinner time dance party

Tuck requested a little "Big green Tractor" tonight and then both he and Brookie belted out the lyrics and danced around.  McKins was laughing so hard she spit her dinner all over me, it was quite a scene!

January 12th - More ice skating and mcmullin family fun for Brookie bday party
