Volcano making, drawing and a three kid bath time!!

March 29th - Boys go ice fishing, girls rest at home

Crazy boys!!!  First some ice fishing and then a little dinner and chill time together in the evening.  Fun, relaxing day at home.

March 28th - another sick child

Home with Brooklyn today...our healthy one!  There were 11 kids and 2 teachers out at her preschool yesterday so I'm not surprised.  Unfortunately, she started vomiting at 2am and was worried about us letting her teachers know she wouldn't be at school!
She rested all morning and felt a lot better in the afternoon.

March 27th - more appointments

So thank you to Aunt Meacy for watching Mckinley today!  Even though our little one is feeling better, she's not herself and developed another rash.  Jay brought her in and it turns out she is allergic to amoxicillin....so we're off that now!  Hopefully things clear up for her now !

March 26th - rashes and fevers oh my...

Poor girl can't seem to kick it;(.  EE came down to spend the day with her and that was a big help.  They had a good day but Kins is still running warm and having a hard time getting rid if the rash and slight fever, poor girl.

March 25th - ENT appointment for Tuck, swimming

We had Tuck's ENT appointment after lunch today.  Kim D. watched Kins for us and we finally got his tonsils checked out.  After listening to his history and current issues, as well as examining the little guy, he recommended Tuck have his tonsils and adenoids out, next Friday.  He says he'll be a different kid because his tonsils have been affecting his speech, sleep, appetite, growth, etc.
We also had swimming tonight and the kids did well, although Kins started running a temp again, argh!

March 24th - Tuck's tessalations

Home again with a sick Mckinley... I let Tucky sleep in a bit because he was so tired too.  These kids are run down, luckily Brooklyn is feeling okay.
Tuck made this design at school, I liked it a lot.

March 23rd - art wall, dollhouse and a visit to Nahne 's...

Tuck has insisted on an art display wall!  It was his idea, he knew exactly what he wanted and he was quite proud of it!  Brookie set up her doll house and I helped with her wooden fairy village. Mckins is feeling better too!  We also visited Nahne's house in Freeport to play with the twins, Mimi, Poppi, auntie Ames and Uncle Richie.  Good, mello day.

March 22nd - day at home, Maine Maple Sat and Dries

The kids chilled all morning and then I took Tucky to his Dr. appt.  Luckily he doesn't have strep either but he's going on different meds to try and clear up his humongous tonsils.  It's affecting his sleep, energy level , speech and appetite.  Poor guy is super thin, 47.5" tall and 47.5 pounds.  Hopefully we can get hi back to normal!

The Dries called and asked us to go to Merryfield farm for Maine Maple Sat.  Daddy watched Mckjns and I took Tuck and Brookie.  We saw big vats of syrup boiling and tried samples.  The kids watched a blacksmith in action and loved the playground.  It started snowing and got cold so we didn't stay too long.  The Dries came back to the house and stayed for dinner.  The kids watched the movie Frozen and had a huge nerf gun battle.  Early dinner and early bedtime for the kids!

March 21st - home with a sick child

Mckinley came down with a rash and ended up spiking a low fever st Cindy's so I picked her up and made an appt.  her doctor did a strep test because her rash was classic strep , and even though it came back negative, she's going back on amoxicillin, poor girl.  He's also concerned about Tuck because he's been struggling so much, so we have an appt. tomorrow morning for him too.  Jays on call this weekend so we weren't planning on going anywhere anyway , good weekend to rest!

March 19th - game night and extra books

March 18th - sister cuddles in early morning before school

March 17th - 10 months old! St. Patty's day

Crazy baby!  She's 10 months old today and so much fun!  She is such a flirt and loves the attention of her siblings and especially Daddy.  She says, "Hi Dada" all the time and even waves now!  She heard Daddy's voice over the upstairs railing and went crazy, hard little one to hold these days!

The big kids were all excited about St. Patrick's Day because there were a lot of sneaky little Leprechaun tricks happening at school and at Cindy's.  They made great attempts at traps but couldn't catch him again.  In Tuck's class at school, they came back to green OJ as a snack after special...Mrs. Lockman was horrified!  haha  what a day!

March 16th - playing at Mimi and Poppi's with Tinker twins

March 15th - Sugarloaf skiing in a beautiful day!

YI

Thanks to Mimi, Poppi and Nahne for watching Kins so the 4 of us could ski together for the first time in two years.  It was an awesome day!

Tucky insisted on the West Mountain chairlift because he wanted to see how the mid-station worked.  It also happened to have amazing untouched powder stashes, two days after the storm.  The sun came out, the temps were warm and it was just fun!  We ran into a bunch of old friends and even got to ski some runs with Tyler, Monica and Trevor.  Brookie skied like herself again and the both kids skied hard.  We skied off the mountain at 4:30pm!!!
