March 24th - "Tucky read"

There's nothing more satisfying than seeing your kids so excited to go upstairs to bed so they can read!!  McKinley lives sneaking in Tucky's bed with him to read, even thought they're reading different books.  Tucky has been reading the "A to Z Mysteries" and just got really hooked on the "I Survived" series.  He is so interested in history and has learned more about the Titanic (if that's possible) and has just started reading about Pearl Harbor and World War II.  **that was so not me at 7😃. Brookie is loving when we read her any of the Boxcar Children books!  So needless to say, bedtime has been taking us a little longer lately but I love it!

March 22nd - Maine Maple Sunday

Freezing cold- again!  We did a big breakfast at the house with the Dries before hitting the Merryfield Farm.  The Marsen's joined us and we met up with Nahne's crew, Poppi and Auntie Ames.  We toured, checked out the animals and had samples with maple syrup, yum!  We couldn't stay long because of the cold and winds so we ended up back at the house for lunch and a visit with cousins, yeah!

March 21st - night skiing at Shawnee with Dries and co.

This is something we've been wanting to do all season and finally got to night skiing with some friends!  Tuck, Brookie and I went skiing on the warmest night of the year and had a blast.  Brookie ended up loving the moguls and did run after run after run on this great trail while Tucky enjoyed being able to go off skiing  a little with friends, and not necessarily on the same trail as Mommy!  I can definitely see us doing this again next year, and it's only 35 min. from home too!

March 21st - relaxing at home

Hanging out with friends Friday night, always a blast and then crafting at home on Saturday! We painted and made special canvases.  Brookie made a butterfly and glued on jewels while Tuck insisted on a bald eagle!  Kins sat for over 30 minutes and carefully painted, she is just so particular and not a big fan of messes!  

March 18th - play at Cindy's

Re-enacting Frozen with Brookie's  cd blasting "Let it Go!"  Tucky apparently was Christophe and rigged up his own reindeer!  He doesn't usually jump into play with the girls but this was hariously awesome!!

March 16th - cuties on a walk

March 15th - powdah!!

I'm constantly amazed by these kids!!!  We skies with Sam and Sage and had a blast on this fine powder day!  This kids skied the glades all day and loved the trees between Hayburner and Skidder.  In fact, they loved skiing so much that we ended up skiing until 4 (Jay and Tuck) and doing baths/dinner at camp on a Sunday night.  Luckily the kids can crash in the car and transfer well when we get back home.  Awesome day!!

March 14th - the Mckinley Chronicles

It was too cold to ski, so we spent the morning coloring and making up a bunch of silly stories about a superhero named Mckinley J....  The kids were into it too:)
