August 21st - Tuck's first day of PRESCHOOL!!!
He is growing way tooooo fast! Tucky started his new preschool today and he was quite excited. He's going to a school that has a bit of Waldorf/Reggio Emilio philosophies and I think it will be right up his "hands on" alley! I know it'll be a transition, especially not going to Cindy's with Brooklyn but I think this will help him grow so much and get him ready for next year as well!
August 19th - Pirate Boat Ride with summer buddies friends
"Arrrgh"

Really fun pirate ship boat ride with our summer buddies friends and a few others! The kids were all very excited and even got to share some Pirate Booty and get gold chocolate coins at the end. It was a gorgeous night on Brandy Pond, the kids are loving this. We were able to get about 8-9 families to come out, really fun.
Then Jude and Bella's family came over to ride bikes and had dinner with us. The kids get along so well, it was a really fun afternoon!

August 20th - bubbles, resting at home
We are resting at home as the summer winds down...so sad. The kids were helping me clean up the garage and we found a few bubbles blowers that I had bought months ago. What fun!
August 19th - playing at home
"Momma, you want a hot dog diggity-dog?"
That is what Brookie asked me this morning as she handed me a bowl with three hot dogs in it! I just about fell off my chair because I was laughing so hard.
Here Tuck's question of the day....
"Mom, does Santa sink or float?"
I asked him what he thought and he said, "He has a fat belly, I bet he sinks. What about the reindeer?"
Tucky is very curious right now about whether things sink or float. He even told me once that a rock sinks because it's heavier than water. Where did he learn that? I hear him asking Daddy all kinds of these questions and he really loves the explicit, in depth answers. really funny
